Rent from the side of the road.
Own a share of a vault that owns billboards. Advertisers pay rent to be seen, the bills come out, and what is left lifts the price of your share. No ladder, no glue bucket, and no calls from a lawyer who wants his face bigger.
The money comes from advertisers.
Nothing is lent and nothing is borrowed. Somebody wants forty thousand drivers a day to know about their crab buffet, they pay for the face, and three things happen in order.
You buy a share
Your USDG mints vBOARD at exactly what the vault holds per share, taken from the last Proof of Posting. Nothing to pay on the way in, and the minimum is fifty dollars.
From 50 USDGAdvertisers pay rent
Every face is leased by the month, the tri-visions by the turn and the screen by the eight-second slot. The farmer under the board, the power company and the vinyl printer get paid first. The rest stays.
Last week the vault kept $0Your share is worth more
Nothing drops into your wallet. The price of vBOARD goes up every Monday instead, and you take it all with you when you cash out. One transaction, no fee, no exit ramp.
Cash out any dayTwenty-four faces. Three roads.
The boards sit in one company the vault owns outright. Six of them are below. The rest look the same, face the same traffic and are leased to people with the same idea about fonts.
Every Monday, photos and the bill.
Billboard companies send advertisers a photo to prove their ad went up. The vault sends one to you, every Monday at 00:00 UTC, with every dollar of rent, every dollar that went out and what the vault kept, route by route.
A bad week gets printed the same way. The wind takes a vinyl, a screen goes dark, a face sits empty. The price goes down, and nobody takes a performance fee on it.
Posting—
Your slice of the view.
Every figure here is read from the vault once it is live on Robinhood Chain. Deposits and cash-outs are ordinary transactions you sign yourself.
Your position
Nothing yet. A deposit here mints vBOARD at the price above.
Do something
Start at fifty dollars.
Put a number in and pick a week. This is what the vault did over the weeks that already closed, not what it hopes the next ones do.
Deposit
Minimum 50 USDG. Nothing to pay coming in, and nothing to pay leaving.
What the vault kept each week. Red is a week that cost more than it made.
Each one is its own line.
Every fee below is printed on every Proof of Posting, with what it took that week.
| Fee | Rate | Charged on | Who gets it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ground rent | 16% | Rent from every board standing on somebody's land | The landowners. Mostly farmers, one church, one man named Earl who asks for his check in person |
| Sales commission | 12% | New and renewed leases | The agency that talks advertisers into it, which is harder than it sounds |
| Management | 0.75% a year | What the vault holds, charged weekly | The vault manager |
| Performance | 10% | What is left after running costs, floored at zero | The vault manager, only in weeks that made money |
| Paste fee | 1% in | Every trade of $BILLBOARD on its curve | The vault itself. It lifts vBOARD like one more advertiser who never cancels |
| Deposit | None | — | — |
| Cash out | None | — | — |
No deposit fee. No exit fee. No performance fee in a week that did not cover its costs.
The ones people actually ask.
What am I actually buying?
vBOARD, a share of the vault. The vault owns one company, the company owns twenty-four billboard faces on three roads, and all of it is marked to one number every Monday. The price of vBOARD is that number divided by the vBOARD in issue.
Do I get paid in my wallet?
No. Nothing is sent out. What the boards keep stays in the vault and the price of each share goes up. You collect it when you cash out, which is one transaction with no fee.
What is the difference between vBOARD and $BILLBOARD?
vBOARD is the share you mint with USDG. $BILLBOARD is the coin that trades on its own curve on Pons. Every $BILLBOARD trade pays 1% into the vault, so a loud day for the coin is a slightly better week for everybody holding vBOARD.
Who is the best tenant?
A personal injury lawyer. He has renewed four times, pays on the first of the month and has never once asked about the view. His only request is that his face be larger.
What happens when a face is empty?
It says YOUR AD HERE with a phone number, which is also an advertisement, just a sad one. The Proof prints it as vacant, the rent line reads zero, and the costs still get paid.
What happens in a bad week?
The Proof prints it. Wind strips a vinyl off the desert board, the downtown screen goes dark for three days, a tenant leaves. The price of vBOARD dips and the performance fee is zero that week.
What do I need to start?
A wallet on Robinhood Chain, a little ETH for gas and at least 50 USDG. Robinhood Wallet works out of the box; MetaMask, Rabby, Trust and OKX get the network added when you connect.
Can I choose just one board?
No. Every vBOARD owns the same slice of all twenty-four. The desert pays steadily, the airport pays on Fridays, the screen pays by the second, and that is why they are kept together.
Put something in and watch a Monday.
Deposit, wait for the next Proof of Posting, and cash out whenever you want. There is nothing to pay either way, and the boards stay lit all night without you.
